Wayne Clark is an internationally renowned Canadian designer, recognized for his 1990’s era women’s evening wear designs. Born in Alberta, Clark developed his craft in creating womenswear after apprenticing for Savile Row couturier Sir Hardy Aimes and studying design in Toronto.
This beautifully constructed 90’s era shoulder padded dress is exemplary of Wayne Clark’s design at its peak. Featuring a low cut neckline, padded shoulders, panelled waistband, open back, and a tulip style hem. The ribbon for the lace up portion at the back is missing but can easily be replaced, otherwise excellent condition.
