Produced by English clothing and swimwear brand Hunza, the same brand responsible for the iconic cut out dress worn by Julia Roberts in the film Pretty Woman. Founded in 1984 by Peter Meadows, the Hunza brand is most known for its signature "Original Crinkle™" fabric, an ultra stretchy tubular fabric that fits to body without side seams. This late 1980's Hunza dress comes in their signature fabric cut into a bustier bodycon silhouette, with a chiffon peplum skirt layered over top. The bodice is accented with grommets along the bust, and the skirt is finished with a few feather embellishments. The label inside the dress features a description of the fabric with a "Patent Pending" notice. Despite never being able to patent their fabric, they have trademarked the title "Original Crinkle™" and keep their fabric techniques secret to prevent imitation.
